…sigh. Skyrim. One of those games that I’m constantly trying to avoid. It’s racist, It’s sexist, and, quite frankly, It’s borderline bigoted. I’m constantly hearing about this horrible game, and I’d like to tell you that this game has a dark message. A message that’s right in front of you.
Ethnic cleansing.
You heard me right. This game is centered around ethno-nationalist ideals, featuring an all-white main cast (the people of color are either thieves or villains) and clearly played a large role in creating the alt right. Why do I say this? Well, the game uses subliminal imaging to slowly turn the player (usually a straight white guy) against anyone who isn’t white. He becomes weary of anyone of color, and slowly begins to revert to a racist state of mind. One that can not be reversed.
We start off in a carriage, being taken to our execution. In the cart with us is a rugged white guy who’s clearly supposed to look like Chris Hemsworth (who also plays a white supremacist “hero”) named Ralof. To our side is a man named Ulfric Stormcloak. He is esentially Skyrim’s version of Adolf Hitler. We’ll get more into that later.
In front of Stormcloak is a man who is apparently a thief.
We go to our execution, and surprise, a dragon attacks. We get a chance to escape, but are forced to go along with the white nationalist guys and join up with them. Whoopie.
They literally force you to go around killing anyone who isn’t white, and force them to worship ‘Talos’ (basically christianity). The game is sickening.
If you play this and enjoy it, then you’re a racist.
